Book Signing: Kelley Armstrong, Melissa Marr, and Jeaniene Frost

Last week I had the pleasure to attend the last stop on Kelley Armstrong, Melissa Marr, and Jeaniene Frost’s book tour. This was only my second book signing, having seen Jeaniene last summer during her promotion of Eternal Kiss of Darkness. I adore all three authors and so was delighted to spend the night listening to them and their many fans discuss the ins and outs of the publishing industry, the trials of traveling across North Carolina in a tiny car, and what’s up next for the many characters we have come to love.

While we fans received some rather exciting news, unfortunately we are sworn to secrecy for the time being. So for now, I will leave you with some of my favorite quotes from the evening (remembered to the best of my abilities).

“All of our first drafts- they bite. It’s really hard to realize when you’re first starting out how bad you bite.” ~Melissa Marr

“You get to the point where you realize it’s not quite a failure; it’s a process.”~Jeaniene Frost

“My characters are in mortal danger all the time and I am quite happy to put them in mortal danger-All. The. Time.” ~Kelley Armstrong
